I was a pirate today. :)
Disney asked my dance team to perform at a holiday party they were putting on for cast members and their families. It was geared towards the kids, with a pirate/princess theme, and we did an epic pirate performance, dancing and acting out scenes from a piratey childrens book by Cornelia Funke, who was one of my favorite authors when I was like ten fyi. But anyway, it was a lot of fun. When we were finished dancing, a bunch of little kids came on the stage and got their pictures with us.
On my way back to the dressing room I passed a little boy leaving with his mom and he said, “bye pirate!” and I smiled and said goodbye, and he came running up to me and gave me a hug! So I ended up kneeling there for a while talking to him about how cool it is to be a pirate. He was a adorable, he made my day, the end.
Another song that’ll be on the CD. This one’s called Meteor Shower. :)
